Political asylum - Howard style
In a final act of love George W Bush has rewarded his cheerleader friend John Howard accomodation in Blair House, a 119 room mansion, and to the cost of Barack Obama.
The President Elect had requested use of the house prior to inauguration to allow his children to start settling in for the start of the school year, but the obviously cash strapped (Yeah, right) Howard seems to be sticking to his plans.
Obviously his infatuation with US Presidents doesn't extend to Democrats and his usual excuse of having to suck up to the US President is not longer valid.
It's a distinct change of direction for a man who couldn't abide political asylum seekers to now be seeking refuge in the arms of one of his few remaining supporters.
And the quality of the accommodation is somewhat removed from the internment camps he was so fond of putting children into during his term.
A fitting bookend to a man who expects the silver spoon treatment. I can just imagine George and John sitting around congratulating themselves on the awards they have granted themselves.

We were already upset with him claiming Obama was the terrorists choice especially when Bush was their biggest buddy.
Can Howard apply for US citizenship? We'd be happy never to hear from him again.
I suppose he could (apply for US citizenship) but, I suggest we US folks add him to the list of "undesirable" persons for the no entry/no fly list.
Oh, my bad. He travels Air Force 1.

i second the no-entry/no-fly list for Howard - on further thought, let's attempt to get Shrub out of the US (by telling him, there are some kids who need books read to them - perhaps in Antarctica) - and stick him on the no-entry list also
